We are in full Valentine's Day mode around here! We made some heart shaped baked cotton balls, a Valentine's Day Alphabet Game and did some Valentine's Day Busy Bags too! We are a little obsessed with our heart shaped molds so I put together this collection of cute Valentine's Day Gifts using heart shaped molds.

20 Cute Valentine's Day Gifts to Make with Heart Shaped Silicone Molds - Gifts, recipes and kids activities

I say “we” are obsessed because my preschooler and toddler are just as obsessed as me with our silicone baking molds (or moulds) around here.

If you are looking for some, I have some (affiliate) links for you.

We have these Wilton molds, but they seem to go in and out of availability on Amazon. If you can't find those available, this set appears to make fewer of the same size hearts, maybe slightly deeper. This set looks to make slightly smaller hearts, but it is cheaper.

Okay, now that we are all equipped we can get down to business! Let's put those puppies to good use!

This actually started because my daughter wanted to make brownies for LalyDad. I had forgotten all about our molds, but seeing them in the cabinet once was all it took!

We used a super basic brownie recipe that I found online (I tried to find the same one but can't seem to find it now). Your favorite brownie recipe or even a boxed mix would work just fine.

We found that if you fill the molds about 3/4 of the way full you will get flat topped brownie bites that stay within the molds. If you fill them all the way to the top, you will get ones with a yummy brownie muffin top. I thought it would take less time to bake but it took the entire time called for in the recipe. Basically I baked them until a toothpick inserted into one of the center brownies came out clean. Cool them fully and then just pop them out of the molds.

Voila! Heart-shaped Brownies!

Next we made some melty bead hearts, which you could make into magnets, sun-catchers, tic tac toe pieces and more! Check out the rest of the collection below!
