Thanksgiving Printable: A Mindful Eating Message

I originally wrote this for my newsletter that was aimed at people using the Noom Weight Loss App, but it is perfect for anyone gearing up for a holiday gathering.
These past few years, I have been doing a lot of mindset work. It has been nice to give myself and my thoughts some well-deserved attention.
As Thanksgiving approaches I was thinking about self care and self esteem on days that involve a lot of eating.
Do you ever go overboard on the holidays and then kick yourself, feeling like you've done something bad, or worse that you ARE bad for what you have done?
I sure have, and I'm tired of it.
I wanted to make sure that I can let go of stress and negative self talk this year, and make the holidays something to fully enjoy.
I don't mean “fill myself overfull without regret.” But I want to find fulfillment and happiness inside, and remind myself of all that I deserve.
- I deserve this nourishing meal.
- I deserve to feel love on this holiday.
- I deserve to have a holiday that is about joy and not stress.
- I deserve to eat with purpose, on purpose, and enjoy this food.
Does that sound like the kind of holiday you want to have?
So. Let's DO it. Let's make this a loving holiday. Loving ourself and loving those around us.
